Root Canals

A root canal removes the nerve in the tooth, and is most often used to save an infected or abscessed tooth.  Root canals are also performed on teeth that have deep cavities, trauma, or a crack.

The procedure for a root canal is very simple.  We begin by finding an access point to the canals.  The canals are cleaned out and are filled with gutta percha material.  The canals are then sealed off and the tooth is ready for a crown.
